A cemetery that breathes life. One of the most unusual cemeteries in South America, with modest immigrant graves and opulent tombs. Punta Arenas Cemetery is listed as one of the most beautiful cemeteries in South America and is known as the "Green Clothes Cemetery". Located in the northern part of the city with three main entrances. As the cemetery had long since depleted its capacity, it was replenished and largely replaced by a controversial new cemetery. The cemetery has been declared one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world by CNN and has the status of a Chilean National Monument.
