Central Cemetery in Stettin, Poland
The largest necropolis in Poland - the Central Cemetery in Szczecin - one of the largest cemeteries in Europe in terms of area. From its opening until 2020, over 300,000 dead have been buried there, and its current area is approximately 180 ha. It was established at the end of the 19th century, in the eastern part of Gumieniec, according to the design of Wilhelm Meyer-Schwartau, and was given its final shape by Georg Hannig at the beginning of the 20th century. It is characterized by a huge space and beautiful, various landscapes, including walking parks, vegetation and gardens. It is on the list of cultural and natural heritage
