Sai Wan War Cemetery , (Cape Collinson Rd, Chai Wan, Hongkong)
War memories symbol. The Sai Wan War necropolis is located in the southeast of Hong Kong. Built in the first half of the 20th century. The cemetery commemorates the soldiers and officers of the Hong Kong garrison who died during the First and Second World Wars. The remains were cremated according to their religious customs and their names were written on the plaques. In total, there are more than 2,000 graves in the cemetery in 2020 y., of which about 500 are unknown. Mostly British, Canadian, Dutch and Indian soldiers were buried here.
